This fourth of July was a little different than usual. Logan played baseball in Hays so we didn't have the usual festivities at Mike and Pam's. We spent the morning at mom and dad's, ate lunch at Mike and Pam's, swam with Madeline and Lucy, and then headed to the Malone's. Last summer Tara, Ashley, and I joked about how crazy it would be this year since we were all pregnant then. Adding three more to the mix was a bonus, but it sure was crazy! We had 7 kiddos that were 2 and under and 11 total. Everyone survived and we made some great memories!
My mom has always enjoyed snakes??? Good thing she has grandsons now to experience this with.
The pooping dog was a hit with Chase. He talked about it for several days! "He poops mom, he poops!"
Ear protection was a must today!
Pops are still his go to firework. Grandpa bought enough to do one pack a week for the entire year.
As soon as the cars, tanks, airplanes, etc. would cool off they became toys.
Recharging before the big booms get started!
Our little firecrackers!!! Many, many more stressful 4th's in store for this mommy and daddy.
Not sure why I ended up being the adult supervisor!
Reid is loving the water just as much as his brother did his first summer! Two little fishes!
Let the chaos begin! Chasing parachutes!!!
The assembly line for glow sticks, glow masks, and glowing balloons.
We watched a few big fireworks set off by daddy and uncle Mike before heading to bed. When we got in the car Chase said, "Mommy, I so happy, it was so fun!" That says it all!
