Some Extra Pics

Getting in a little tummy time.

 Chase's Birth Announcement

We left Chase with my parents to take a day and go to Wichita before school started to do some clothes shopping, have sushi (I have been waiting nine months for this), and of course get a pedicure!
Of course we ended up mainly buying clothes for Chase like this Jayhawk outfit!

Miss Connie our babysitter got Chase a Rocky Mountain outfit and this onsie.

He isn't so little anymore!

This is so true!!!

A little tummy time.

One of uncle Mason's baby outfits.

Grandma and Grandpa Smith bought this bear family at a charity auction. I think they will stay at grandma and grandpas house!

Got his shots. He cried for about 3 minutes but I cried too! Frozen chocolate candy makes good ice bags.

Mom and dad got this swing from Rick and Rita Krause, He was a bit shocked at first but ended up loving it!

When I got the all clear to start running (it was not pretty) we took a pit stop to eat on Nana and Papa Malone's porch!

Baptism

Chase was baptized on Sunday, August 18th, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church. I was baptized at the same church on August 16th, 1981.

When trying to decide what day to have him baptized Jason said he wanted to do it when Chad's band was playing! When Chad's wife Kristy told him this he cried! It makes me laugh because Jason went to school with Chad and Chad was my babysitter (we played Ghosts in the Graveyard when he would babysit)!

Pastor Jim Strasen, Godparents Josh and Tara Pool

Not to shabby of a picture while trying to get three kiddos to be happy and smiling!

This is my favorite photo of the entire day. Lucy admiring her boyfriend Jason. She can't get enough of him for some reason!

The Smith side of the family.

The Perry side of the family.

The Perry boys!

Chase is blessed with extra sets of grandparents! Doug and Pam Chambers.

 Nana Teresa and Papa Mike

The best friend and sister I could have asked for and the best godmother for Chase! So many childhood memories, high school, college, and now motherhood together! Tara is trying the prom pose in this photo, otherwise I would not have posted my double chin!

We learned our crazy ways from out crazy moms! Love that they matched this day!

The ceremony (assisting minister was Mrs. Swank, my 6th grade teacher).
Chase was perfect. Didn't cry at all. Threw his arms up when the water hit his head but didn't make a peep.

Some Extas

A little uncle to nephew advice...sure it had something to do with hunting!

Who can imagine what this conversation between Charlie Swank, Jason, Chad Jerke, and Uncle Mike was about???

Finding an outfit to fit our little man was a chore. Grandma Krista ended up having to take the suit apart and make it a lot smaller and it turned out perfect! The eternity cross is mine.

After the service we headed to Montana Mikes for lunch. Our first choice was Classic Inn but they are not open on Sundays.

Grandma Karen
One of his many amazing gifts.
The crew...love Lucy in this pic!

Jason's uncle Jim and aunt Robin Cain.

A little extra special time with Madeline and Lucy.
 And the Lucy kisses begin!

Checking out the fingers and toes.
 Chase loves his god sisters!
Lucy is a baby hog so it is precious when Madeline gets her alone time with him. She just likes to hold his hands and check him out.

Chase can see Lucy coming in for the kiss goodbye!

It was a great day with our families and great friends!
