Great Grandpa's 85th Birthday Party

We had a short trip to Inman for my grandpa's 85th birthday. We weren't there very long when Chase grabbed a cup of hot coffee and dumped it on himself. Thank goodness my dad grabbed him and had him in the bathroom before I got to him. When I went in he had his shirt off and was screaming. The skin was already peeling off his chest. As a mom you freak out. Dad had it under control. As long as we were outside he was doing ok because it was cold. Lots of people offered to help out and we got some medicine to calm him down. Unfortunately this meant we needed to head for home. I held him the whole way. He finally fell asleep on the way home. I was shocked at how well he did the next couple of days. He never picked at his bandages or complained. He ran around without a shirt for three days but he was a trooper. They healed up great! We were really lucky!

Reid's Baptism

Reid was baptized on Feb. 22nd. Josh and Tara are God Parents to both our boys! There was a snow storm on the way so some people couldn't make it and it was a quick service to get everybody on the road!

My dad was assisting minister. Reid cried most of the time until my mom brought him a bottle. We just prayed for no spit up!

Family shots with both boys was a challenge!

This is a crew!

Rob and Ashley made it to the service with baby Reese.

Two peas in a pod. Where ever one is  you will find the other, usually hiding on this day!

VEGAS for Christmas

For Christmas this year I surprised Jason with a trip to Vegas. For somebody that always WINS BIG he had never been before. I gave him a puzzle in a zip lock baggie to put together. After watching him do this for about 30 minutes (impatient) I started giving clues. He finally figured it out and then asked when? I said, in two days! This was the conversation that followed... Jason-"It's hunting season!" Me-"Well your hunting partner is going." Jason-"No way is Mike going!' We all had a great time. Didn't have enough time there. Of course Jason won, Pam won, I won, and Mike did ok! It actually snowed when were there so Vegas was not warm!

Of course we had to go the the Pawn Shop from Jason's favorite show.

We stayed at New York New York
